A good surveying company doesn't offer a single service, but several options - to suit each client's budget, property and timeframe. Unfortunately, some services - like the RICS HomeBuyer report and RICS condition survey, are template driven and can be restrictive for an old or complex building. When considering an older property a bespoke inspection allows the surveyor the time to properly investigate any serious issues found on site.
This service analyses the condition of the property, it is able to offer legal advice and highlights any urgent issues. It is our lowest priced service.
Major Elements Survey
Identifying and investigating any major defects throughout the property, this service is a much more concise survey and looks at only the major defects without any wasting time on obvious or minor issues.
Our building surveyors are professional and calm which comes in handy when dealing with the Party Wall Act. The act is very complex and often leaves neighbours in disputes.
Schedule of Condition
Used prior to commencing a lease or even during party wall procedures, this survey provides clients with an overview of the building's condition and usually comes with many photographs.
Schedule of Dilapidations
Similar to a schedule of condition, except this report focuses on the condition and defects that are present at the end of a lease.

Getting Verbal Acquisition Advice helps meet a range of needs. You don’t need to wait for a report to be written and given to you with this service, so if you need your purchase to be completed quickly then this service is perfect for you. As the process is so much quicker, it also means that the final fee is a lot lower, great for those with a tight budget.
The surveyor simply conducts the usual investigations on your property, but rather than giving a full report, the surveyor will get back to you directly that same day to give you feedback on the survey- either face-to-face or by telephone.
